equature® NG911 Recorder integrates with Motorola
Flexible ATIA Trunked Radio

PRWeb, May 5, 2010

Southfield, MI – DSS Corporation (www.equature.com), a leading national provider of Next Generation 9-1-1 multi-media recording solutions, announced the release of Motorola Flexible ATIA Trunked Radio support in equature®.

The Motorola Flexible ATIA Trunked Radio support allows equature® users to search on a multitude of search criteria like: Talk Group ID, Talk Group Alias, Individual ID, Individual Alias, Zone, Site and Timestamp. All of these data criteria can be searched, filtered, reported on and exported for additional use in the PSAP.

equature® also supports true start/stop triggering based on the ATIA Radio data. This is a big advantage for the PSAP agencies because VOX based radio recording can cause blending of radio transmissions into one message which is frustrating for the end users.

Multi-media Scenario reconstruction is enhanced now with the ATIA Radio integration supported in equature®. Creating true scenarios is critical to understanding exactly what happened when there is an event.

PSAP agencies also have the need to report on call volumes for staffing purposes. equature® supports a robust reporting platform allowing PSAP’s to report 911 calls, 7-digit line calls and all radio traffic in one platform. The Motorola Flexible ATIA Trunked Radio integration enhances this functionality.

Pat Smith and his team at the Garfield County Emergency Communications Authority, Western Colorado was instrumental in helping DSS Corporation complete and test the Flexible ATIA integration. “The integration will help us create a more accurate Scenario reconstruction and a system level of detail on every Radio call as well as enhance our call reporting capabilities, even drilling down to a single Radio” said Pat Smith.

“This exemplifies our commitment to product enhancement in equature® driven by our customer base. It is imperative that we support PSAP agencies and provide the best tools on the market because they support us in life and death situations” said Joe Mosed GM DSS.
