equature® Proactive Search

What is it?
equature® Proactive Search is a framework that allows the users to be notified when relevant interactions meet their criteria. This is very similar to Google Alerts. Thus users can setup multiple alerting and searching criteria to help them be more efficient and effective.
Why is this important?
equature® Proactive Search is important because users need relevant data NOW. In the public safety sector, Seconds Save Lives®. The value of information decreases over time thus you do not want to find out about relevant information later. An example of this was the terrorist bombings in India. People that were on Twitter knew exactly what was happening 4 hours before main stream media had any idea. Putting this idea into action for your agency will increase service levels and help you provide world class service.
How does it work?
equature® Proactive Search is simple to use. Users setup searches that are relevant to them and keep them on their dashboard. Equature® is a real-time application so when the search criteria are met then the results automatically populate on your dashboard. Likewise, you can setup notifications and RSS feeds as well.
